PURPOSE: An up and down type lighting tower is provided to prevent a collision noise of a fixing frame and a lift frame by detaining the lift frame into XYZ axial direction. CONSTITUTION: A pole is vertically installed on a ground. A fixing frame(20) is installed in a top end of the pole. A lift frame(30) is moved top and bottom according to the pole. A lighting lamp is mounted in the lift frame. A lift driving unit drives the lift frame. An XY axial direction detaining unit detains the lift frame into an XY axial direction. A Z axial direction detaining unit detains the lift frame into a Z axial direction, and includes a detaining piece(70), a linear actuator(72), and a detaining rod(73). A remote control switch remotely controls the lighting lamp, the lift driving unit, and the Z axial direction detaining unit.
