PURPOSE: A bracket installation structure of a column member for a shelf is provided, which improves convenience and profitability in installing a bracket to a column member. CONSTITUTION: A bracket installation structure of a column member for a shelf is constituted as follows. Compression hooks(11) are arranged to be symmetrical in a column member(10) for a shelf. Binding slits(24,25) are formed in the first and second boards of a bracket(20) to correspond to both side compression hooks. Both side compression hooks located at the lower part of compression hooks for the shelf are press-inserted in the binding slit of the bracket, and restrains the first and the second boards. The bracket is set up in the lower part of the column member for the shelf in a one-touch mode.
