PURPOSE: A safety system of a car lift is provided to reduce use of power and improve convenience by performing the descent operation of a lift. CONSTITUTION: A safety system of a car lift comprises a mounting part(30), a hydraulic cylinder(13), a multi-stage stopper(36), a latch piece(32), an operation member(34), a controller, and a sensor(40). The vehicle is loaded on the mounting part. The hydraulic cylinder raises the mounting part. When the mounting part ascends, the latch piece goes over the multi-stage stopper and when the mounting part descends, the latch piece hangs on a retention protrusion(37) or a retention hole. The operation member separates latch piece from the hanging position of the multi-stage stopper. The sensor detects whether the latch piece is separated or not. |
