The assembly has a profile (5) comprising a rabbet (6) to receive a glazing (15) e.g. double insulating glazing, and delimited by a rebate (10) and a free end (11). A glass bead (125) ensures closing of the rabbet and maintains the glazing, and the rabbet comprises a stop (35) between the rebate and the free end. The glass bead has a wing (146) terminated by an internal rib (145), where the internal rib and the stop are clipped when the glass bead is provided at the glazing by fixing an external lower part in contact with the free end and straightening the glass bead towards the glazing. An independent claim is also included for a method for installing a glazing in a window chassis.
