MIRROR FACE ROTATING SYSTEM FOR OUTSIDE REARVIEW MIRROR

PURPOSE: A system for rotating the surface of an outside rearview mirror is provided to enable a driver to timely monitor the situation of a rear field by rotating at least a portion of the surface of an outside rearview mirror. CONSTITUTION: A system for rotating the surface of an outside rearview mirror(1110) comprises a mirror surface driving unit(1111) rotating a surface(1118) of an outside rearview mirror using electrical energy, a power distributing circuit(1113) properly distributing the electrical energy to respective driving elements of the mirror surface driving unit, a manual glass surface position control unit(1112) controlling the distribution of the electrical energy by a driver, and an automatic mirror surface control unit(1114) rotating at least a portion of the mirror surface of an outside rearview mirror by control signals. The control signals includes a first input signal(115) inputted corresponding to the state of a signal lamp control switch and a second input signal(1116) inputted corresponding to the state of a steering wheel. The image of a rear field is displayed as a panoramic view. Therefore, a driver fully monitors the situation of the rear field.
