摘要 A fire-resistant safety cable (1) comprises at least two electrical conductors (3). An insulating layer (4) surrounds each electrical conductor (3) in order to obtain at least two insulated elements (5). The insulating layer (4) is formed from at least one polymeric material capable of being converted, at least on the surface, into the ceramic state at high temperatures in a fire. An outer jacket (6) surrounds the insulating elements (5). The cable has, in cross section, an external outline comprising at least two substantially plane faces that are substantially parallel to each other. The insulated conductors are mutually adjacent, side by side, and their axes lying in one and the same plane between the at least two faces.
