FIELD: engines and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used for gear pump repair. Proposed method comprises grinding gear OD and faces, as well as working surfaces of strips to remove traces of wear. Rubber seals are replaced. Stepwise cylindrical lapping tool is used to finish radial sealing and bearing surfaces of tightening holder. Larger diametre of stepwise lapping tool equals OD of finished gear, while smaller diametre equals that of gear journal. Then ground faces of the gear are lapped with the help of disk-like lapping tool and face surfaces adjoining radial sealing surfaces are processed. Now lapping plate is used to lap working surface of strips. Metal washers with thickness equal to that of removed metal layer are placed under rubber sealers. ^ EFFECT: longer life, increased delivery. ^ 8 dwg |
