Disclosed is an infant formula comprising, beta-serum or low-lactose beta-serum. The formula may also comprise lactose, vegetable oils, skim milk powder and whey protein concentrate. Also disclosed is an infant formula comprising as an ingredient a fraction obtained from beta-serum enriched in polar lipids or depleted in neutral lipids or both.
