The machine (1) has a drum (6) traversed by drying air from a drying air circuit (5) that is provided with a fan, and a fluff filter (2) placed in the circuit. A fluff scraping unit (17) is displaced with respect to a filtering wall (19) of the filter between a scraping position and a closing position. The scraping unit scrapes fluffs on the filtering wall of the filter during driving the scraping unit in a single direction. The scraping unit closes an inlet opening of a scraped fluff storage zone (18) when the unit is in the closing position.
