A wire rod transfer guide apparatus is provided to correct the transfer direction of a wire rod on a wire rod transfer table, when the transferred wire rod is deflected, without causing deformation or friction mark. A wire rod transfer guide apparatus comprises a wire rod deflection detection unit(20) which is equipped in a wire rod transfer table(2) to detect the deflection of a transferred wire rod, and a wire rod transfer guide unit(30) which is equipped in the wire rod transfer table and linked with the wire rod deflection detection unit to guide the wire rod to be normally transferred. The wire rod deflection detection unit includes a thermal conductor(21) which is positioned across the wire rod transfer table to deliver the heat of the wire rod and temperature sensors(22) connected to both sides of the thermal conductor, and compares the temperatures detected by the temperature sensors to determine the deflection of the wire rod.
