A road sign assembly where the signboard can return to its correct orientation after impact is disclosed. The assembly includes an elastic body (30) that wraps around a stay bar (1) of a road sign, and a clamp (10, 20) that encircles the elastic body. The clamp is connected to a support plate (70) by a hinge. The support plate and a reinforcement plate (60) are connected to the signboard. A tension spring (80) extends from an upper region of the reinforcement plate to the upper section (10) of the clamp. The spring acts to return the signboard to a vertical orientation if the signboard is moved by an external force. |
