The device (1) has an envelope (11) containing load of extinguishing fluid, and a valve (31) for filling the fluid. A discharge valve (51) is opened to prevent pressure exerted by the fluid on the envelope from exceeding a certain value. A connection unit has a path connecting a filling state measuring cell (41) to a monitoring station (100). The connection unit has an antenna circuit connected to the valve (51) and connected on a side of the cell by a wired connection line (111), where the circuit transmits information to the station by a radio-relay connection (115). An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting a fire extinguisher device.
