FIELD: electricity. ^ SUBSTANCE: waveguide switch includes stator with inlet and outlet waveguide channels, longitudinal axes of waveguide channels are turned relative to each other. Besides it contains rotor with curved waveguide channels, connecting inlet waveguide of stator with one of outlet stator waveguides. Waveguide rotor channel is made in the form of "n" straight sections of waveguide, which are in series connected, longitudinal axes of which are turned relative to each other at an angle =/n+1, where - angle between longitudinal axes of inlet and outlet waveguide stator channels of switch. Length of mean line of each of straight waveguides sections in rotor is w/4, where w - wave length of waveguide. ^ EFFECT: bandwidth expansion almost to bandwidth of waveguide, increasing electric strength and minimising rotor diametre and therefore overall dimensions of the switch when it is necessary to introduce the second and more number of channels in the rotor. ^ 1 dwg |
