A plasma display device is provided with a drive circuit board, which is arranged on a chassis member holding a plasma display panel, connected to an electrode terminal section of a display electrode through a flexible wiring board and applies a drive voltage to the display electrode; and a plurality of data drivers, which are arranged on a lower end section of the chassis member in proximity to an electrode terminal section of a data electrode, connected to the electrode terminal section through the flexible wiring board and apply a drive voltage to the data electrode. The plasma display panel forms a base film on the dielectric layer covering the display electrode, and a plurality of crystal grains composed of a metal oxide are adhered on the base film so that the crystal grains are distributed over the entire surface of the base film. |
