Animal drafting means

A split gate for use in drafting animals in a stockyard race. The gate includes an upper gate section that is jointly and/or separately movable with a lower gate section. The upper gate section is configured and arranged to be movable, in use, to pass behind or over the back of an animal travelling through a stockyard. The lower section is configured and arranged to be movable, in use, to assist in providing a barrier to an animal for drafting out of a stockyard race.
