The method involves calculating an emitting time of periodic messages to be transmitted based on a defined periodic message length. Different combinations of sectors of equipments (E1-E3) e.g. controller, are defined for calculating a latency time for periodic messages in the sector of combinations. Maximum values corresponding to worst case are determined from the latency time calculated for each periodic message.
