PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily grasp evaluation information of contents by immediately transmitting and receiving the evaluation information.

SOLUTION: An evaluation information receiving section 25 is connected with a content view playback and recording device 17 for accepting evaluation information of contents received from a network 18. An evaluation information input section 28 accepts evaluation information of contents input from a user. An evaluation information sum-up section 26 sums up evaluation information for each of contents. An evaluation information display section 27 reads out the evaluation information summed up by the evaluation information sum-up section 26 and displays the evaluation information of the contents. The evaluation information transmitting section 29 transmits the evaluation information of contents input from the user to the content view playback and recording device 17. A content view playback and recording device operating section 30 is capable of instructing the content view playback and recording device 17 to record or play back contents.
