<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game apparatus for achieving a race game having a variation on a course, requiring a high degree of determination and a complicated operation technique from a player. <P>SOLUTION: An object includes a handle, an accelerator, and a brake pedal which are used by the player to control the direction and speed of the movement of the object. When the object is in a normal condition in which the object moves in contact with a reference plane, a control section controls the movement direction of the object from an operation signal corresponding to the operation of the handle, and controls acceleration or deceleration of the movement of the object based on operation signals according to the operation of the accelerator and the brake pedal. When the object is in a special condition in which the object is separated from the reference plane and in a three-dimensional space, the control section controls the rolling of the object from the operation signal corresponding to the operation of the handle, and controls the pitching of the object from an operation signal corresponding to pressing of the accelerator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
