<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage and control, on a service providing side, an expiration date of display information included in e-mail which is transmitted and received through a communication network. <P>SOLUTION: A mail management system manages an expiration date of display information included in e-mail transmitted through the Internet 70 and includes: a cell-phone 20a having a function for transmitting and receiving e-mail through the Internet 70; a mail server unit 130 which temporarily stores e-mail transmitted to the cell-phone 20a and then causes a communication terminal to receive the e-mail; an expiration date monitoring unit 113b for monitoring arrival of an expiration date; a display information changing unit 113f for changing display information included in e-mail stored in the mail server unit 130 when the expiration date monitoring unit 113b has detected the arrival of an expiration date; and a flag setting changing unit 113e for changing e-mail set in a non-received state, and making the cell-phone 20a receive again e-mail changed in display information to invalidate the display information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
