<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle control unit for improving a fuel consumption rate by controlling SOC of an electricity storage unit with higher accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The control unit of a hybrid vehicle having an engine, at least one rotating electric device can power running and power generation, and the electricity storage unit for exchanging electric power with the rotating electric device, includes an own-vehicle prearranged running path decision means for deciding the prearranged running path of its own-vehicle 1; a preceding vehicle information acquisition means for receiving maximum vehicle speed information and related information of a preceding vehicle 1A passing through the prearranged running path of the own-vehicle from an external information collection terminal 70; a predicted regeneration amount calculation means for calculating a predicted regeneration amount, based on the maximum vehicle speed information and the related information of the preceding vehicle; and a target value modification means for modifying a target SOC of the electricity storage unit, based on the predicted regeneration amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
