<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve acceleration responsiveness and controllability of an EGR rate (EGR gas amount) by compensating dead zones that intake valve and EGR valve themselves have in an exhaust gas recirculation control device constituted to operate movements of the EGR valve and the intake throttle valve by relating the movements by a control command signal. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust gas recirculation control device is provided with a dead zone decision means 64 for deciding to be in the dead zone of the EGR valve 27 or the intake throttle valve 29 when a change rate of an estimated air excess rate calculated by including unburned air quantity in EGR gas is smaller than a prescribed value, and a dead zone compensation means 66 for correcting an opening command value of the EGR valve 27 or the intake throttle valve 29 so that the dead zone may not act on the relating operation of the EGR valve 27 and the intake throttle valve 29 when deciding to be in the dead zone when performing a transition operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
