<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly detect insertion of a card, by effectively utilizing a limited space in a housing. <P>SOLUTION: This card connector has the housing 2 capable of inserting the card, and a detection switch 19 for detecting the insertion of the card. The detecting switch 19 is composed of a fixed contact point 19 composed of a first fixed contact point part 193a and a second fixed contact point part 193b, a movable contact point spring 192 composed of a first contact point part 192b always contacting with the first fixed contact point part 193a and a second contact point part 193c contacting with the second fixed contact point part 193b when driven in response to the insertion of the card, and a lever 191 for rotating the movable contact point spring 192 by rotating by abutment to the card. The second fixed contact point part 193b is arranged on the inner side in the card inserting direction than the first fixed contact point part 193a, and is arranged in an outer position in the rotational direction of the lever 191 than a plane for forming the first fixed contact point part 193a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
