PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve measurement precision by enhancing the detection precision of code phase. SOLUTION: The first correlation integrating processing which performs the correlation integrating of the received signal of GPS satellite signal diffusely modulated by PRN code, and the replica code of PRN code is performed, while shifting the phase of the replica code in the first phase searching area. The second phase searching area which is narrower than the first phase searching area is set based on the correlation integrating value at the first timing during the first correlation integrating process. Then, the second correlation integrating processing which performs the correlation integrating of the received signal and the replica code is performed, while shifting the phase of the replica code in the second phase search area. The set second phase search area is determined as to whether it is suitable, based on the correlation integrating value of the first correlation integrating processing at the first timing and the correlation integrating value of the first correlation integrating processing at the second timing which is slower than the first timing. Then, the positioning is performed, by carrying out the predetermined positioning computing using the processing results of the second correlation integrating processing when determined to be suitable by the determination.
