PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To register the mail address of a portable terminal tied to personal information in a short time without forcing any complicate operation on a user. SOLUTION: An ATM generates one-time password, and transmits an account number read from a cache card and the one-time password to an authentication server, and the authentication server registers the information in an authentication DB, and when a portable terminal is held over the FeliCa reader of the ATM, the ATM transmits empty mail including the one-time password to the portable terminal by tripartite communication, and when the empty mail is transmitted from the portable terminal, the authentication server receives the empty mail, and searches records having the same one-time password as one-time password included in the empty mail from the authentication DB, and registers a mail address tied to the account number of the records in the customer DB.
