摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a magnesium alloy which has excellent workability at ordinary temperature and also has high flame retardancy and strength. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An ingot subjected to solution treatment is pressed and forged from multidirections in order, respectively (multidirection forging process). In the multidirection forging process, e.g., when the ingot 10 passed through a process C is a cube as shown in Fig. (a), the ingot is pressed and forged from the respective axis directions of the X-axis, Y-axis and Z-axis forming a right angle each other to the ingot 10 for two or more times, respectively.
