PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-phase alternating-current rotating electric machine equipped with distributed-winding and overlapped-winding stators, wherein a shared voltage between in-phase and inter-phase adjacent coils is relieved at the same time with a simple structure. SOLUTION: Windings 20, 30, 40 for each phase include first coils 21, 31, 41, final coils 28, 38, 48 connected with a neutral point 50, and intermediate coils 22 to 27, 32 to 37, and 42 to 47. Each of second and third coils 22, 32, 42, 23, 33, 43 is disposed to adjoin both sides of each of the first coils 21, 31, 41. The first coils 21, 31, 41 for each phase are disposed to adjoin the intermediate coils 24 to 27, 34 to 37, 44 to 47 for another phase, and the final coils 28, 38, 48 for another phase that are electrically connected with the neutral point 50 side rather than the adjoining second and third coils 22, 32, 42, 23, 33, 43.
