PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underground storage system of carbon dioxide gas which prevents carbon dioxide gas injected into an aquifer from rising underground and leaking out to the sea bottom surface, and can monitor the state of carbon dioxide gas-dissolved water in a wide area and for a long term. SOLUTION: The underground storage system of carbon dioxide gas for storing and isolating carbon dioxide gas by forcibly feeding carbon dioxide gas into the aquifer in the ground of the sea bottom while dissolving carbon dioxide gas into a solvent comprises: a carbon dioxide gas-dissolved water manufacturing device 1 which dissolves carbon dioxide gas into the solvent and, at the same time, produces the carbon dioxide gas-dissolved water having a specific gravity larger than the specific gravity of water in the aquifer; and an injection well 5 which is penetrated up to the aquifer in the ground of the sea bottom in order to forcibly feed the produced carbon dioxide gas-dissolved water into the aquifer, wherein a storage area H of the carbon dioxide gas-dissolved water is formed on a lower layer area which satisfies a pressure condition and a temperature condition capable of producing carbon dioxide gas hydrate and does not superimpose on a hydrate producing layer S existing in a prescribed depth from the sea bottom surface.
