PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing a biomass product capable of efficiently producing the biomass product, and to provide a method for producing the biomass product. SOLUTION: The biomass product E is produced by fermenting a raw material C of a biodegradable organic material with fermentative bacteria M. In the process, the raw material C and the fermentative bacteria M are fed to a fermenter 1 to carry out dry fermentation of the raw material C at a high temperature, and a gas P in the fermenter 1 is led out to a separation concentrator 2 installed in connection to the fermenter 1.
