PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die assembly which is provided with nests each having high durability, producible regardless of whether each of them has a flat face or a curved face and producible even in a large area of a B5 size or more, and which molds a molded product having extremely high smoothness. SOLUTION: The die assembly 10 includes: (A) a die provided with a first die part 11, a second die part 12, molten resin injection parts 14A, 14B and a cavity 13; and (B) nests 20A, 20B. The nests 20A, 20B are composed of: (a) metallic blocks 31A, 31B; (b) metal substrate layers 32A, 32B with a thickness of 0.03 to 1 mm; and (c) sprayed coatings 33A, 33B made of ceramics and formed on the metal substrate layers 32A, 32B. Each sprayed coating has a porosity changing in a thickness direction, the porosity is made lower as it is made close to the surface of the sprayed coating, and a carbon-hydrogen solid matter film composed of carbon-hydrogen solid matter containing hydrogen atoms of 10 to 45 atom% is formed on the surface of the sprayed coating.
