<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire pressure drop detecting device which improves estimation accuracy in estimating frequency characteristics of wheel rotation signals as time series signals. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The device is provided with a rotation speed detection means which periodically detects rotation speed information of each tire, a frequency characteristics estimation means to estimate frequency characteristics from the rotation speed information, and a judgement means to judge pressure drop of the tire based on the estimated frequency characteristics. The frequency characteristics estimation means includes a parameter estimation means which performs time series estimation of parameters of a more than third order linear model against time series signals including the rotation speed information, an input signals estimation means which estimates input signals for the linear model from the estimated linear model and the rotation speed information, a parameter identification means which identifies parameters of a linear model lowered to second order from the estimated input signals and the rotation speed information, and a resonant frequency estimation means which estimates a resonant frequency of the tire.
