<p>A window glass breakage detecting clip for detecting breakage of window glass of a vehicle based on a change in the state of mounting of a detection target member relative to the window glass. The breakage detecting clip has a first section and a second section bent so as to face each other and sandwiching an end of the window glass. When the window glass is not broken, the first and second sections sandwich the window glass, maintaining contact therewith at positions displaced from each other in planes thereof, and are urged by the elasticity of the first and second sections in the direction in which the first and second sections approach each other. When the window glass breaks, the first and second sections elastically deform to crush the end of the window glass, changing the state of mounting of the detection target member relative to the window glass.</p> |
