<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retrieve a check target image similar to a check key image even if the check key image is a variable-time image, an allotted image, or a low-resolution image. <P>SOLUTION: A document check processing portion 314 retrieves based on: a result of a first comparison process in which a feature amount extracted from a check key image in a first resolution degree stored in a feature amount storage portion 315 and a feature amount of a check target image are compared with each other; and a result of a second comparison process in which a feature amount is extracted from a check key image in a second resolution degree stored in an image data storage portion 313, and the extracted feature amount and the feature amount of the check target image stored in the feature amount storage portion 315 are compared with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
