<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling information storage device or the like, capable of recording traveling information by suppressing an increase in a storage capacity, without troubling a user or using a navigation system. <P>SOLUTION: The traveling information recording device 100 includes: a section distance storing means 31 for storing a traveling distance of a vehicle from the turning on of an IG until the turning off of the IG; a traveling information storing means 32 for storing a plurality of pieces of traveling information which are obtained by associating, at least one of the time information of an IG-on time and an IG-off time to the traveling distance; a usage state determining means 25 for determining whether the usage state of the vehicle that has moved during a period from the time, when the IG is turned on to the time when the IG is turned off is usual, on the basis of the plurality of pieces of the traveling information; and a traveling information update means 27 which, in the case of reaching the upper limit of the storing capacity of the traveling information storing means 32, overwrites a newly obtained traveling information on the traveling information of a usage state determined as being normal, when the newly obtained traveling information is normal and overwrites the newly obtained traveling information on the traveling information of a usage state determined as not being normal, when the newly obtained traveling information is not normal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
