<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a metal powder film, which can form the metal powder film without exerting an influence on a substrate, and to provide a member coated with the metal powder film. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The coated member includes: the substrate 10 having a metal layer formed on a face to be coated; the metal powder film 22 formed on the metal layer by coating the metal layer with a metal powder comprising at least a single metal of titanium, tungsten, molybdenum, iron, zinc, tin and zirconium, an oxide or a hydride thereof, or a mixture or an alloy thereof, or a metallic powder formed of a ceramic and the metal carried thereon; and an adhesion layer 30 which is formed so as to overlap the metal powder film and fixes the metal powders on the coated face.
