<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drunken driving prevention device capable of surely preventing a spoofing of a driver. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An ultrasonic wave generating device is mounted to an alcohol detector 4 detachably mounted to a console panel 5 of a vehicle 1, and first and second position detection sensors 6, 7 receive ultrasonic waves issued from the alcohol detector 4, so as to detect its position. This makes it difficult for an occupant 21 sitting on a front passenger seat 9 to take an alcohol check instead of the driver 3. Also, an obstacle sensor 10 is mounted at a boundary portion between a driver's seat 2 and the front passenger seat 9, which makes it difficult for the occupant 21 sitting on the front passenger seat 9 to hang out to the driver's seat 2 and take the alcohol check.
