<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muffler for good sleep eliminating the neck from being choked by forming no clearance when tossing about in bed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This muffler, attached to the tip of a quilt and covering the neck and the shoulders when lying recumbent, is provided with detachable quilt attachment parts at a side to be attached to the quilt, wherein the quilt attachment parts are provided only at parts other than the central part of the side, and the central part has the length of 40-50 cm. The provision of the central part allows the muffler to freely move despite the movement of the quilt to prevent the entering of draft from the shoulders, being highly operatively connected with the movement of a person such as tossing over, and give an excellent sense of unity with the quilt. Both the ends of the muffler are attached at the tip of the quilt so as to prevent it from excessively winding around the neck even if tossing over and eliminate any possibility of being choked.
