<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hemostatic device which minimizes an influence of heat on surrounding tissues of a bleeding site and has no influence of a current on the surrounding tissues. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The hemostatic device includes a hemostatic instrument 10 having a shape of a hollow tube, and a suction device 30 which is connected to the internal space of the hemostatic instrument 10 through a suction tube 20 and applies a suction pressure to the internal space of the hemostatic instrument 10. When a distal end of the hemostatic instrument 10 is pressed against the bleeding site by activating the suction device 30 and applying the suction pressure to the internal space of the hemostatic instrument 10, the tissue of the bleeding site comes in a state of being sucked from the distal end of the hemostatic instrument 10 to the inside by the suction pressure.
