A spring-loaded sliding sleeve (23) on the base body (3) interacts with the locking body (21). The aim of the invention is to provide an extremely stable automatic tool locking mechanism. To achieve this, the locking body is configured as a locking bolt (21). A first guideway (35) for the locking bolt (21) is recessed into the base body (3) and a second guideway (17) for the locking bolt (21) is located in the sliding sleeve (23). Both guideways (35, 37) are positioned in relation to one another in such a way that during the displacement of the sliding sleeve (23) against the spring force, the locking bolt (21) simultaneously slides towards the exterior in both guideways (35, 37).
