MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, MOBILE STATION, BASE STATION, AND HANDOVER CONTROL METHOD

摘要

A mobile station measures a reception quality level of each peripheral cell of a motion source cell and transmits the information on the measured reception quality level of each peripheral cell to a motion source base station which manages the motion source cell. The motion source base station selects a cell group to perform a handover according to the information on the reception quality level of each peripheral cell from the mobile station and transmits to the mobile station, information on a cell which has completed a handover among the selected cell groups. The mobile station selects a motion destination cell to which a handover is to be performed in accordance with the information received from the motion source base station and concerning the cell which has completed a handover preparation and the information on the reception quality level of each peripheral cell at the moment.
