LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY AND FABRICATING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device and a manufacturing method thereof for reducing the defect by solidifying the sealant of a narrow bezel domain are provided to harden the sealant by securing a proceeding path of ultraviolet rays by partially removing a black matrix. CONSTITUTION: A first substrate includes a gate link unit(G). The gate link unit is extended from gate lines from bezel area outside a pixel array area. A color filter and a black matrix are formed in the pixel array area. The black matrix is partially removed in a part which is overlapped with the gate link unit. The sealant is formed in the bezel domain. The sealant welds the first and second substrates. The sealant defines a liquid crystal layer between the first and second substrate.
