PURPOSE: A sealing apparatus and a sealing method using a line beam for a display device are provided to seal a display device easily by radiating a line beam the whole area of the display device and heating a glass sealant of a multiple cell area at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A sealing apparatus and a sealing method using a line beam for a display device includes an UVWZ stage, an UVW stage, a transport unit, and a head unit. A pair of substrates for a display device is mounted at the UVWZ stage. A pair of substrates is arranged in an X-axis, an Y-axis, a Z-axis and a rotational direction at the UVWZ stage. A mask(300) has a transmission region(310) to correspond to the sealing material formed between a two-board is mounted at the UVW stage. The UVW stage is arranged in the X-axis, the Y-axis, and the rotational direction. The UVW stage is arranged to have a different height of the UVWZ stage.
