<p>Disclosed is a wobble plate type variable displacement compressor that uses a constant velocity joint mechanism, which comprises an inner wheel and an outer wheel, balls that are held between the inner wheel and a guide race in the outer wheel to transmit power, and a sleeve, which functions as the wobble center point member of the wobble plate and which rotates symmetrically relative to a main shaft and is moveable in the axial direction, and which is engaged with the inner wheel so as to be moveable in the axial direction. In the compressor, an inner wheel rotation prevention mechanism is constructed with a contoured interlock mechanism between the outer circumference of the inner wheel and the inner circumference of a housing, and a swash plate minimum inclination angle regulating mechanism, which controls the minimum angle of inclination of the swash plate due to the ends, in the axial direction, on the inner wheel-side and the housing-side of the contoured interlock mechanism striking each other, is constructed by the contoured interlock mechanism. The precision of the minimum angle of inclination regulation can be improved, and the wear resistance of the inner wheel rotation prevention mechanism can be improved in the swash plate type variable displacement compressor that uses this unique constant velocity joint mechanism.</p> |
