ULTRASONIC DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus for performing correlation processing by setting a reference signal according to the order of harmonics, the diagnostic region of a subject and the diagnostic depth of the subject.

SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus S comprises a transmitting part 12 for transmitting a first ultrasonic signal into the subject; a receiving part 13 for receiving ultrasonic waves; and an image processing part 15 for forming the image of inside of the subject based on the reception of a second ultrasonic signal from inside the subject based on the first ultrasonic signal received by the receiving part 13. The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus further comprises a correlation part 14 for detecting the second ultrasonic signal output from the receiving part 13 by the correlation processing between the output of the receiving part 13 and a preset reference signal. The reference signal is set according to the order of harmonics to be detected with the frequency of the first ultrasonic signal as a basic frequency, the diagnostic region of the subject and the diagnostic depth of the subject.
