<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of facilitating a user's operation in the event of a conveyance error. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device includes an image forming part 12 for forming an image on a sheet, and a horizontal conveyance part 18 for conveying a sheet after the image formation. In the event of a failure in the sheet conveyance, such as a paper jam, occurring inside the image forming part 12, the operation of the horizontal conveyance part 18 is continued independently.
