<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling roll coolant can control plate form to a target form by performing stable form control of materials to be rolled, even under various rolling conditions. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of controlling roll coolant, a first control parameter and a second control parameter are preliminarily set and either of the first control parameter or the second control parameter is selected based on the form detected by the form detector 4 corresponding to rolling conditions, to control the jetting of the coolant; wherein the first control parameter is set for jetting the coolant to work rolls 2a and 2b from nozzles 6 of coolant jetting devices 5a and 5b corresponding to elongation detecting zone, by detecting the plate form after being rolled of a material 3 to be foil-rolled by the work rolls 2a and 2b of a foil rolling machine 1 for each prescribed unit width (zone) with a form detector 4, and the second control parameter is set for jetting the coolant from the nozzles 6 corresponding to the widening detecting zone, when the detected form is in the elongation direction compared with a target form. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
