<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device connected to a bus, including a means for generating a timestamp, and the like. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes: a means for receiving an MPEG2 transport packet, wherein some of MPEG2 transport packets have an MPEG2 timestamp and a program clock reference; a means for generating other timestamps, wherein each of the other timestamps is associated with timing to receive the corresponding MPEG2 transport packet; a means for forming a packet further, wherein the packet includes the other timestamp and the corresponding MPEG2 transport packet; a means for outputting the packet supplied from the packet forming means to a bus; and a means for outputting to the bus a control signal associated with outputting of the packet to the bus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
