<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber-reinforcing fiber improved in adhesiveness to rubbers, specifically peel adhesion and rubber separation, not only at room temperature but also in high temperature atmospheres, and to provide a method for producing the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The rubber-reinforcing fiber whose surface is applied with an adhesion-treating agent for rubbers/fibers, wherein that calcium carbonate having a particle diameter of 0.05-10 μm exists in the adhesive component. Further, the calcium carbonate is preferably precipitated calcium carbonate, and the calcium carbonate is preferably surface-treated with a silane coupling agent. The fiber is preferably a polyester fiber or an aromatic polyamide, and the adhesion-treating agent is preferably a resorcinol-formalin-latex based adhesive. Ž<P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
