PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pack battery effectively preventive of damage due to impact without increasing the thickness and weight of an exterior case. SOLUTION: The pack battery has a battery assembly 50 consisting of a plurality of batteries 1 connected to one another, and stored in the exterior case 4 at its fixed position. The exterior case 4 consists of a first case 4A and a second case 4B. It has a convex stripe 61 along the opening edge of the first case 4A, and a connection groove 62 along the opening edge of the second case 4B for the convex stripe 61 of the first case 4A to be inserted and connected thereinto. The first case 4A and the second case 4B have the opening edges connected to each other with the convex stripe 61 inserted into the connection groove 62. The convex stripe 61 of the first case 4A has a level difference to be parted into a low convex stripe portion 61A and a high convex stripe portion 61B. A specified region at the peripheral wall opening edge of the exterior case 4 is formed as an impact absorbing region 63. The convex stripe 61 in the impact absorbing region 63 is the low convex stripe portion 61A, and the convex stripe 61 in the other region is the high convex stripe portion 61B.
