PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microchip for simultaneously detecting and analyzing both of the first and second target substances different in specific gravity from each other of a specimen comprising the mixture of the first and second target substances, for example, blood wherein plasma and blood corpuscles are mixed by weighing only the second target substance to separate it. SOLUTION: The microchip is constituted by bonding at least a first substrate having a groove provided to its surface and a second substrate and includes a fluid circuit, which is composed of the groove and the surface on the side of the first substrate of the second substrate, therein. The fluid circuit includes a centrifugal separation part for centrifugally separating the specimen into a first target component and a second target component of which the specific gravity is larger than that of the first target component by applying centrifugal force to the microchip in a first direction. The centrifugal separation part is constituted so that the first target component and a part of the second target component are removed by applying centrifugal force to the microchip in a second direction while holding the residual part of the second target component and centrifugal force is applied in a third direction to allow the residual part of the second target component to flow out of the centrifugal separation part.
