The external cradle (13) has a collar shaped sector clamping a cylinder, a leg (21) connecting to each of the collar end zones and a U-shaped reception piece (17). A plate (19) between the legs havs a base (23) which is supported on the cylinder and from which webs form a groove for receiving a support piece. The base of the U-shaped reception piece has a radius (RB) greater than the radius (RZ) of the cylinder between the legs.
